Managed Duo multi factor authentication MFA services are provided to support ongoing security of the authentication environment.
Ongoing oversight includes authentication operations, including monitoring, policy management, user enrollment support, system maintenance, and reporting to support access security and operational continuity.
Services include:
- Continuous monitoring of Duo authentication logs for anomalies, failure spikes, and suspicious activity, including repeated failed authentication attempts, unusual login locations or times, and potential credential stuffing or brute force attacks
- Escalation of verified security incidents or high risk findings to designated contacts, with response handled in accordance with applicable incident response procedures
- Review and adjustment of Duo security policies, access controls, and device trust rules as needed to reflect changes in security requirements, user base, or the IT environment, including configuration of authentication methods, enforcement of device health checks, and application of group based or application specific access policies
- Management of the full lifecycle of user and device records within the Duo platform, including provisioning and deprovisioning users, performing device resets, issuing token replacements, and troubleshooting authentication failures or enrollment issues reported by users or administrators
- Application of periodic platform updates and implementation of security tuning in accordance with Duo best practices and standard security configurations, helping ensure the Duo environment remains current, properly configured, and aligned with evolving security standards
