Directory Services

Active Directory

A directory service maps the names of network resources to their respective network addresses. Each resource on the network is considered an object on the directory server. Information about a particular resource is stored as attributes (elements available for review) of that object. Information within objects can be made secure so that only users with the available permissions are able to access it. More sophisticated directories are designed with namespaces as Subscribers, Services, Devices, Entitlements, Preferences, Content and so on. The directory service we specialize in is Active Directory, the true heart of the Windows enterprise (and quite a few hybrid enterprises). Its proper functioning is critical to the network and the many applications relying on it. It manages the identities and brokers the relationships between distributed resources so that they can work together. When Active Directory is under performing or compromised, access to all associated resources is compromised as well.

How Managed Solution Can Help:

Managed Solution designs more secure, identity-based access to applications both on-premises and in the cloud from virtually any location or device. We implement a design that enables the use of a single identity for users regardless of the organization as well as on partners’ networks, and provides seamless, always-on connectivity.

Our solution helps enterprises reduce ongoing security costs by enabling them to centrally manage identity and simultaneously empower users to resolve identity and password issues without IT assistance. We accomplish this through Active Directory that transforms claims, other tokens, manages user access, enables federation, and access management for a simplified single sign-on.

Identity and Access Management combines processes, technologies, and policies to manage digital identities and specify how they are used to access resources. Achieve solid business results in heterogeneous IT environments while concentrating on the key issues of total cost of ownership (TCO), security, and the growing need for information access beyond organizational boundaries. This provides solutions that balance the need for short-term business results with a long-term security and management strategy.
