What’s Included

Following the initial implementation described in the Onboarding section, managed Barracuda cloud to cloud backup services are provided to continuously protect and monitor data within Microsoft 365 or other supported platforms.

Ongoing oversight of backup operations includes monitoring, user management, storage optimization, restore support, and policy adjustments to support data protection and business continuity.

  • Management of user accounts and data repositories within the backup platform as organizational needs change, including adding new user accounts to the backup schedule and handling departing employee accounts in accordance with the applicable data retention policy
  • Monitoring of cloud backup storage utilization and enforcement of agreed retention policies, helping ensure backup data is pruned in accordance with defined retention periods and storage usage remains within subscription limits
  • Notification when storage limits are being approached, along with discussion of available options such as adjusting retention settings or procuring additional storage
  • Upon request by authorized personnel, initiation and oversight of restoration of emails, files, or other items from cloud backups to their original or an alternate location, including verification of restore success and confirmation that recovered data is accessible
  • Periodic review of backup configuration and policies to incorporate new data sources or changes in the environment, such as newly adopted cloud applications or SharePoint sites, with backup schedules and settings adjusted as necessary to support performance and business continuity requirements
