This agent continuously monitors the health, performance, and operational status of your Veeam infrastructure, helping identify issues before they impact your ability to restore data.
What We Monitor
- Proactive monitoring of Veeam backup, synchronization, and replication operations to ensure job health and reliability
- Visibility into the operational state, availability, and task capacity of VMware and Hyper‑V proxy hosts
- Performance monitoring of Hyper‑V proxy servers, including CPU, memory utilization, network throughput, and task processing efficiency
- Detailed tracking of individual backup job sessions, including start and end times, duration, transfer speeds, processed data size, and completion status
- Reporting on configured backup jobs, including overall job health, success and failure rates, and scheduled versus actual run time
- Monitoring of jobs that protect the Veeam configuration database to ensure the backup environment itself can be recovered
- Tracking of file‑level and VM‑level backup copy jobs, including transfer rates, durations, and error conditions to verify secondary copies are created successfully
- Oversight of backup scope, scheduling, retention policies, and target destinations across backup jobs and policies
- Monitoring of file and VM synchronization jobs, including sync frequency, transfer volumes, replication lag, and error condition
