If Client maintains a Veeam Backup and Replication service with Managed Solution, Client is required to have one (1) of Managed Solution’s Veeam BDR LogicMonitor Agent. This agent monitors the health of Veeam’s backup, synchronization, and replication operations, as well as the operational state, availability, and maximum task counts of VMware and Hyper-V proxy hosts.
- Tracks the health and performance of Hyper-V proxy servers within the Veeam backup infrastructure, including CPU, memory, network throughput, and task processing efficiency.
Captures data for individual backup job sessions, including start/end times, duration, transfer speed, processed data size, and completion status. - Provides statistics for configured backup jobs, including job health, success/failure rates, and scheduled vs. actual run times.
- Monitors jobs responsible for backing up the Veeam configuration database, tracking job status, last successful run time, and errors to ensure the Veeam environment can be recovered if needed.
- Tracks the performance and status of file-level and VM-level copy jobs, including transfer rates, duration, and error conditions to confirm secondary copies are being created successfully.
- Monitors scope, scheduling, retention, and target destination between backup jobs and backup policies.
- Tracks file and VM synchronization jobs, monitoring sync frequency, transfer volume, and replication lag or errors.
